Covid-19 practices

The Oxford Club has been practising outdoors once a week over the summer. The Sports Centre is planning to re-open for Michaelmas term, and we expect to have one 1-hour practice slot on Saturday afternoons, and possibly a second on Wednesday evenings (not yet confirmed).

Practices will be socially distanced and booked in advance so that we know numbers and keep track of who has attended. Assuming practices can resume we will only be charging £10 for this term, but as always you get a free taster session first.

Please email OxfordKDS@gmail.com to let us know if you are interested in joining the club, so that we can contact you with further details of practice sessions as they are confirmed.

About

Oxford University KDS was founded in 2001 by Senior Instructor Minh Chung (5th dan). Ian Treherne (3rd dan) is the second club instructor. The club is affiliated to the University and contains a mixture of students, staff and people with no connection to the university.

We train three times a week throughout the year. There are frequent club trips to attend courses held elsewhere in the country. The club also has regular socials. We welcome everyone, regardless of ability or experience, to all practices.
