About

Summer School is a week of challenging practice and excellent atmosphere, a chance to meet and train with some of the most skilled and experienced practitioners of the art.

With up to three practices a day, six days in a row, you can develop your karate dramatically.

Combined with the social events, including a final formal dinner and ceilidh, you will also have the chance to forge lasting friendships and fond memories. Many kyu grades also emerge from Summer School with a well-deserved new belt.

This year, we've put together a survival guide to help you prepare for Summer School:

A welcome meeting on the Saturday will help you settle in and make sure you have all the information you need. This is followed by a buffet, giving you the chance to catch-up and meet everyone.

There is a social, including food, on the Tuesday night, to reward you for getting through the tiring start to the week. Share the successes of your practices and stretch your aching legs.

The usual formal dinner is held on the Friday evening, celebrating our achievements.

Bring your black tie attire and dancing shoes.
