The course is open to all grades and will be led by Marie Kellett 5th Dan.

We are hosting this year's course in the High-Performance Centre within the University of Northumbria’s Coach Lane Campus (a 15-minute drive from the City Centre). As always, we’re planning a couple of cracking socials so it’s promising to be an excellent weekend!

[London] Thirty Years in Londonhttp://www.karatedoshotokai.com/viewNewsArticle.php?article=421The London club is celebrating it's thirtieth anniversary since being founded by a collection of ex-Durham black belts in 1988. To celebrate this milestone the club is holding an afternoon of practice on the 2nd June followed by an evening celebration at a often frequented pub in the club's history - The Victoria.

All are welcome to join to either the evening social or the practice, especially those who have trained with the club in the past.

Any intereseted are able to come along and practice the traditional Japanese art of karate. Learn self-defence, get fit, and enjoy yourself. Big muscles are NOT necessary. Karate is suitable for ANY build/size/fitness level, so give it try.

[Cardiff] Cardiff senior instructors instruct at Belgium coursehttp://www.karatedoshotokai.com/viewNewsArticle.php?article=410 Two of our senior instructors travelled to Belgium to instruct at a weekend course.

Steve Court has been a member of the KDS organisation since 1995 and was graded by Harada Sensei to 3rd Dan in Dec 2013.

Roy Margetts joined the KDS in 1977 and has been a 5th Dan instructor and member of the KDS Technical Executive for many years.
