Thomas Butts, 2nd Dan

Tom has been training in Karate since 2002 and in the KDS since 2003. He began his training in Durham under Grant Ingram (1st dan). From 2005 - 2009 he was a member of the Oxford club, training under Minh Chung (4th dan), Ian Treherne (3rd dan) and Roy Margetts (5th dan). In 2008, he was awarded his 1st dan. From 2009-2012, Tom trained with the central London club under Nic Stewart (3rd dan), and in 2012 founded the Twickenham Karate club with Andrew Egan. He was awarded his 2nd dan in 2012.

As with all KDS instructors, Tom is fully accredited and insured with SportsCoach UK. 

Andrew Egan, 2nd Dan

Andrew has been training in Karate since 2003. Like Tom, he began in Durham under Grant Ingram (1st dan). From 2007-2008 Andy trained in Stoke under Mark Hallam (5th dan), and from 2009-2012 trained in the central London club under Nic Stewart (3rd dan). He was awarded his 1st dan in in 2010. In 2012, he founded the Twickenham Karate club with Tom Butts. He was awarded his 2nd dan in 2015.

As with all KDS instructors, Andy is fully accredited and insured with SportsCoachUK.

Steddy Smit, 2nd Dan

Steddy began his training in Southampton under Gavin Rothwell (5th dan), Tony Lima (5th dan) and Steve Hope (5th dan) in 2001. He moved to Twickenham in 2015 to joing the Twickenham club. Steddy was awarded his 2nd dan in 2012.

As with all KDS instructors, Steddy is fully accredited and insured with SportsCoachUK.
